Mell Chan The Red Peranakan Cutie






This is a customised outfit for a little Nyonya girl's Mell. I used the same batik print from the SQ's kebaya uniform for the long sarong dress. The top was using plain red fabric and enhanced it with golden floral lace. I am happy with the end result, and thank you my little Mell Chan doll who helped to model this lovely Peranakan set! :)

Snack Preview - Mell Chan in our Indian Costume "Sari" or "Half Saree"

I have been receiving requests from some mommies and little fans to make Mell Chan doll an Indian Costume "Sari Gown". Well, since I have already made her Chinese CheongSam and Peranakan Kebaya. Why not adding another National Costume - Indian's Saree!  I am using a 2 tones (Red/Dark Blue) florals fabric and added some white tulle and of cause lace, beads and sequences for details laters. Again, I can't add too much as they are meant for younger kids. But again, if not too much - it won't be nice for our remarkable Indian's Sari! Right? Quite challenging... :"> More photos will be posted after I completed them!
